Panama Chock Type EU(Deck Mounted)
The Deck Mounted Chock also known as EU type towing chock is installed on the ship deck.
The chock is the towing fittings applied for the towing purpose by towing lines.
It is made of cast steel, generally by ZG230-450 in Chinese standard.
Both the material and types of marine chocks can be customized according to your requirements and design. The design mostly has high SWL.
The surface of the towing chock is fine polished by a 2-layer of shop primer anti-rust painting after sandblasting 2.5 and well painted without any bur and the edge is to protect the towing ropes from broken during work. It is similar to NS 2589 chock, not often used in Asian ships.
