JIS 1169 eye nuts are recommended for zero degree vertical lifts or in-line loads.
They are sized in inches and designed for using with a threaded shank.
They are primarily used for permanent mounting to industrial machinery or equipment for lifting, rigging, or lashing, or as an anchor point for other rigging hardware.
Be sure to consult eye nut specifications for WLLs prior to conducting lifts as WLLs are reduced significantly for non-axial loads.
Carbon steel or 304/316 stainless steel lifting eye nuts are available.
